CREDIT AMOUNT: IDA-US $54.5 million equivalent
Terms: Maturity = 40 years; grace period = 10 years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will help the Kingdom of Nepal reduce poverty in rural areas by improving rural access and promoting higher agricultural output and non-farm income in remote hill areas of the Western, Mid-Western, and Far Western regions. It will promote more sustainable funding and more efficient public sector management of road maintenance, as well as environmentally sustainable road construction and maintenance practices.
